The BF-2.8 is a self-aspirated mechanical flotation machine for copper ore flotation. Its 2.8 m³ cell and closed double-cone impeller provide effective pulp circulation and air dispersion for copper sulfide flotation circuits.
Copper Flotation Duty
Copper flotation usually includes roughing, scavenging and cleaning stages. The BF-2.8 can serve as a rougher or scavenger cell in copper circuits where self-aspiration and self-pulping operation is preferred, drawing air and pulp without auxiliary pumps.

Working Principle
The motor drives the impeller through a belt drive. The rotating impeller agitates the copper pulp and creates a vacuum that draws air through the suction pipe into the impeller chamber. The air-pulp mixture is dispersed into fine bubbles, and copper mineral particles attach to the bubbles to form mineralized froth for recovery.
